The cars people search for most, cheapest first. A car priced inside the range under its name is a normal price for that car.

Asking prices in Kenyan shillings of the 2,131 cars of these 12 models on sale today. Most of them are priced between KES 680K and KES 3.5M.

Where most of that car's prices fallIts usual price

Usual price is the middle price: line up every car of that kind from cheapest to dearest and take the one in the middle. Half cost more, half cost less, and one overpriced car cannot pull it up.

Where these numbers come from

Everything here is counted from Motifiti: 10,174 searches by buyers from 6 October 2026 to 5 November 2026, and the 10,195 cars on sale today with a price in shillings. We never show who searched for what.

Prices are what sellers are asking, not what cars sold for, and not a valuation. We do not inspect vehicles or verify their condition, mileage or paperwork.

The exact terms

The usual price is the median: half the cars cost more and half cost less, so one very expensive car cannot move it. "Most are priced between" is the middle half of prices. A model is shown once at least 20 people searched for it and at least 5 are on sale, and a price range needs at least 8 priced cars. The yearly change is a straight line through the logarithm of each year's usual price. Brand new cars are left out of the year figures, and prices in foreign currency are left out rather than counted as shillings.

The figures refresh through the day. Please link to this page rather than copying the numbers, so whoever reads you sees the current ones.
